Rennsport Works has been a landmark establishment for Porsche owners, the well-known manager and owner of the shop is a former Porsche circuit driver. Many Porsche owners of the Texas area will ship their cars to this shop only for him and his hand-picked selected staff to work on these cars. This shop would turn a normal Porsche into a circuit racing Porsche. The shop did have one problem due to the shop's location and testing facility for cars; the space required doesn't fit the city limits very well. For this reason the shop was moved to a rural wide-open area. Yet because of this factor the advertising for this shop was pure word of mouth. For word of mouth they have done pretty well. Yet the owner and assistant have taken upon themselves to seek new clients.

The main objective

Here was to refer the old clients with the new web portal. Considering the main goals of the web portal to showcase the finish works of the shop. This proved to be very crucial in visuals for potential new clients. We learned a lot of people have talked about this shop in car forums. Yet since no website, it proved hard to keep up with emails and attachments of pictures.

The Website:

Aimed for an older generation of computer and Internet users. This made the layout and navigation of the website very basic yet sleek in design. We wanted to showcase how easy it was to navigate the website. The color scheme was chosen after viewing a lot of the design colors Porsche have. A very popular porsche part manufacturer as well inspired the new logo. The overall feel and design was created and aimed for Porsche cart fans and enthusiast as well.

Yet the overall schematics and coding was aimed for SEO optimization to help not only in search engines but also have SEO-friendly urls. This would help them for the frequent car-forum user looking for their shop, instead of via forum topics.

The End Result:
